The existing content website can remain in WordPress while a booking system or dashboard runs separately. Define identity, data ownership and the responsibilities of both systems early.
Look beyond the initial build
Compare hosting, updates, backups, migration and ongoing support as well as implementation cost. The least expensive starting point may not be the easiest system to evolve.
